SVDV Coulter applicator

The SVDV coulter applicator has the same features as the SV bemester but has a more robust construction to accommodate the larger working width. The SVDV applicator is available with working widths from 12 m to 15 m. The SVDV applicator is equipped with two Slootsmid Mini Exact distributors for unique slurry distribution. It is built to be strong and durable and has few wear parts, giving it a long service life with low maintenance costs.

Well thought-out construction

The SVDV injector has a carefully considered main frame design constructed of special steel and therefore has a low unladen weight. Due to its low unladen weight, the slurry injector requires little pulling power, resulting in lower fuel consumption. The frame and elements are completely galvanised. This liquid fertiliser injector is very user-friendly and easy to maintain.

The outer sections of the collapsible arms are hydraulically collapsible to maintain a maximum transport height of 4 m. The machine is equipped with its own lift system and remains entirely behind the tanker.

Good distribution

The SVDV coulter applicator has two Slootsmid Mini Exact Duo distributors, resulting in unique slurry distribution on the field, across the entire working width of the machine. The distributors are constructed to continuously maintain equal pressure at all outlets. Together with the unique continuous hoses with steel spiral and 50 mm inner diameter, this ensures perfect flow and prevents blockages. The slurry injector can be fitted with mechanically or hydraulically operated shut-offs as an option.

Optimal slurry utilisation

Thanks to the wear-resistant trailing coulters, the slurry injector enters the soil well with little pressure, even under difficult conditions. The ground pressure is adjustable from 1 kg up to 7 kg per element.

The ground clearance is between 20 cm and 30 cm, depending on the ground pressure setting.

The element is fitted with long spring leaves for optimal ground contour following. The 59 slurry outlets of the element are spaced at 20 cm intervals on the SVDV 1200 and 25 cm intervals on the SVDV 1500.

Current Dutch legislation allows use of the SVDV coulter injector when at least 50% water is added to the manure and the registration requirements are met.

Universal linkage

The SVDV applicator is equipped with its own lift system and remains entirely behind the tanker. Therefore, it does not need a separate lift system. The SVDV slurry injector can be fitted behind almost any brand and type of tanker.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the SV and SVDV trailing shoe injectors?

The SV trailing shoe injector is a lightweight, straightforward applicator available in working widths from 5 m to 9 m, making it ideal for standard applications on peat and clay soils.

The SVDV trailing shoe injector has a heavier and more robust construction, offering working widths of up to 14.75 m and additional reinforcement for increased capacity. This model is designed for more intensive use and larger surface areas.

How do I determine the right working width for my farm?

The right working width depends on your fields, tractor power, and capacity requirements.

Large, straight fields → wider injector = higher capacity.
Small or irregular fields → compact injector = better manoeuvrability.

Always match the working width to your slurry tank or drag hose system.
Our specialists are happy to advise you on the width that best suits your operation.

What is the weight of the different versions?

The SVDV Coulter applicator is available in various models.
The weight varies depending on the working width:
SVDV 1200 (11.80 m): 2,550 kg
SVDV 1500 (14.75 m): 2,590 kg
