What are the benefits of manure separation?
Reduction of liquid manure volume by up to 25%. The fractions (thick and thin) can be reused on the farm or disposed of. The thick fraction can be used as bedding material (known as bio-comfort bedding).
What is the difference between a manure separator and a decanter?
A manure separator does what its name suggests: it separates manure into a thin and a thick fraction. Because the thin fraction contains a lot of nitrogen and the thick fraction contains a lot of phosphate, you can retain nitrogen on the farm and remove phosphate. This allows for tailored fertilization of fields and crops. A manure separator should therefore aim to get as much phosphate out of the manure and into the smallest possible amount of thick fraction. One way to achieve this is through a high separation efficiency: the volume of liquid manure that ends up in the thick fraction. For this, we collaborate with GEA.

What is the maximum width of a Slootsmid grassland injector?

Where can I install a Slootsmid cutting filter?

What are the main differences between the Solid and Sigma slurry tanks?
Both the Solid and Sigma tanks are robust and compact, but they differ in capacity, axle configuration, and application.
