Solid Tanker

The Slootsmid Solid is a very solid and compactly built slurry tanker, which can be built as either a vacuum tanker or pump tanker. The chassis is designed so that the tanker has a relatively low centre of gravity yet still has minimal ground pressure because tyres up to 205 centimetres in diameter can be fitted under the wheel arches.

Solid chassis

The single-axle tanker has a one-piece chassis and a capacity of 10,000, 12,500 or 14,000 litres. The tanker is built to be very robust and compact, and has a low unladen weight and optimal weight distribution. As standard, this manure tanker is equipped with 8″ connections and prepared for the integrated heavy-duty Slootsmid 3-point linkage, suction arm and macerator. Thanks to the large wheel arches, there is a wide choice of tyres up to 205 cm in diameter, and load-sensing air brakes allow speeds of up to 40 km/h.

Wide choice of pumps

The Solid tanker is available in three versions:

  • Solid V with 13,500-litre MEC vacuum pump
  • Solid L fitted with a 6,000-litre Boerger FL 1036 lobe pump and 8-speed gearbox
  • Solid W fitted with a 4,000-litre Meyer Lohne screw pump and 8-speed gearbox

Highly manoeuvrable and comfortable

The tanker is compactly built, with a short wheelbase and large tank diameter. This makes it extremely manoeuvrable and also gives it a low rolling resistance. Both when driving on the road and in the field, you benefit from optimal weight distribution, resulting in great driving comfort. Optionally, the tanker can also be fitted with a top pressure cylinder.

Equipping the tanker with a suction arm, and possibly the turbo filler, reduces filling time and allows the driver to stay in the cab. The ISOBUS control adds to the comfort feeling for the user.

Compact lift system

The Solid slurry tanker is prepared for an integrated heavy-duty Slootsmid 3-point linkage. This makes it very easy to mount and dismount a slurry injector.

Frequently asked questions

What are the main differences between the Solid and Sigma slurry tankers?

The Solid and Sigma slurry tankers are both robust and compact but differ in capacity and design.

Solid: Single axle, 10,000–14,000 litres. Lightweight, manoeuvrable and ideal for smaller fields.
Sigma: Tandem axle, 16,500–20,500 litres. More comfort and stability thanks to a steered rear axle and suspension. Perfect for more intensive use.

Both models are available as vacuum or pump tanks and can be equipped with a range of options.

Solid = agile and light. Sigma = powerful and comfortable.

Which slurry tankers best fits my operation?

That depends on the way you work.

The Solid is ideal if you mainly operate on smaller fields, cover shorter distances, and value manoeuvrability. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and requires little power.

The Sigma is better suited for more intensive use: longer distances, larger volumes, and contracting work. Thanks to its extra comfort and stability, it performs well even under tougher conditions.

This way, you choose not just based on technical specifications, but on what best fits your daily operation.
