SGWM Precision injector

The Slootsmid SGWM precision injector is specially designed for applying natural fertiliser substitutes, such as mineral concentrate, ammonium sulphate, scrubber water and low-dose liquid fertiliser in grasslands and cereal fields. The SGWM slurry injector is available in two versions: the SGWM and the SGWM-PB. Various prototypes of the machines have been intensively field-tested on a range of soil types. During these studies, Slootsmid worked closely with research institutes and regional initiatives for alternative fertilisation methods and application techniques to reduce environmental impact.

Well thought-out construction

Slootsmid SGWM precision slurry injectors have a unique, robust construction combined with a relatively low unladen weight. The frames are fully galvanised and the outlets are made of stainless steel, giving the machine a long life with low maintenance costs.

Precise dosing

Slootsmid Mesttechniek’s SGWM series slurry injectors are capable of dosing 150 to 8,000 litres per hectare at speeds as high as 12 km/h. This makes the slurry injectors ideally suited for applying natural fertiliser substitutes and low-dose liquid fertiliser. The slurry injectors are available in working widths from 7.5 to 13.5 metres and are optionally equipped with section shut-offs, automatic lubrication and towing hook.

Optimal distribution

The precision slurry injectors are fitted with Slootsmid mini-exact distributors, which are designed to deliver exactly the same pressure to all outlets. Because there are multiple distributors, there is a continuous supply to each element. As a result, there is no V-shaped run-up in the headlands.

What is the difference between the SGWM and SGWM-PB precision injectors?

The SGWM is a reliable precision injector with excellent distribution and ground contour following. The SGWM-PB is the more advanced version with six Slootsmid Exact distributors, section control, ISOBUS control and adjustable down pressure per element. The PB version offers working widths up to 15 m (instead of 13 m), providing additional capacity and flexibility. The SGWM-PB offers more precision and options, while the SGWM provides a solid foundation.

Which applications and conditions are best suited for the SGWM?

The SGWM is ideal for precise slurry application on grassland. Thanks to its stable construction and excellent ground contour following, it performs well on flat and slightly uneven terrain. Perfect for farms that want efficient application without additional automation.
